Our Staff

The BIS Staff is made up of five members who are dedicated to providing business, industry, and government organizations solutions to their training needs.

Our staff members are:

Mike Heinze 

Mike Heinze is the Director of Business and Industry Services.  His duties include consulting with area business and industry leaders to help determine strategies to meet customized training needs and to help coordinate training programs.  His past experiences include twelve years teaching experience and eighteen years experience in the commercial and residential construction industry as a sub-contractor, general contractor and a small business owner.

Mike has a BS degree in Trade and Industrial Education from the University of Central Oklahoma, and a Master's of Education from the University of Central Oklahoma.

Scott Cline 

Scott Cline is the Assistant Director of BIS where his main responsibilities are to interface with clients to determine training needs, goals, and purposes through a Needs Assessment, then monitor and evaluate the training programs to assure the client is getting the highest quality of training available.

Scott graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a degree in Industrial Safety with emphasis on Ergonomics. He then became the representative for a local union on Safety inquiries. His past experience with training started as a contractor where he facilitated Motor Vehicle Accident Prevention courses. He moved on to become the TIP Coordinator for the GMT370 project at General Motors before coming to work at BIS.

Forrest Doshier

Forrest Doshier is the Safety Coordinator for Business and Industry Training. He works with clients to develop Positive Safety Cultures within their organizations.

Forrest retired from the City of Noble Fire Department where he held the position of Sergeant/Apparatus Engineer/EMS Instructor. He began facilitating classes for the Technology centers as a contract instructor part time before he retired. Forrest has experience in logistics, warehousing, transportation, maintenance, and rural water supply. He graduated from Childress High School in Childress, Texas, and has gone on to complete many courses in Fire Fighting, EMT, HAZMAT, and First Responder training, to name a few.

Julie Farmer

Julie Farmer is the Bid Assistance Coordinator for Mid-Del Technology Center and Eastern Oklahoma County Technology Center (EOC). Both centers have partnered to provide bid assistance to local businesses. 

Prior to joining the MDTC/EOC team, Julie was the Director of Purchasing for the Norman Public School District in Norman, Oklahoma. Her past experience also includes Contracting and Certified Procurement Officer for the State Department of Central Services and Purchasing Officer for Oklahoma County.

Jennifer Sanders

Jennifer Sanders has been the Administrative Assistant for BIS since October 1998. She is the "heartbeat" of the BIS organization. An Oklahoma native, Jennifer graduated from Choctaw High School, DeMarge College and the Business Information Technology Program at Mid-Del Technology Center. Jennifer loves the outdoors and is active in adult co-ed softball.  She is a proud mother of three active boys, Mark,  Kyle, and Levi.
